A wonderful and very rare original vintage travel poster promoting voyages from the UK to New York by RMSP in the 1920's. The poster designed by Shepherd (Shep) depicts an old sail ship that gives associations to the Spanish conquistadors.
R.M.S.P New York Service by the famous "O" steamers probably means sailing with ships like the Orbita, Orca and Orduña.
The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company was liquidated, and its assets taken over by the newly formed Royal Mail Lines in 1932.
In overall good condition with age wear, foldmarks, scuffs. Mounted on linen. Will look great framed!
