Another wonderful Percy Trompf poster depicting the Mundaring Weir as a main image and illustrations of Portion of "the Golden Mile" Kalgoorlie and crossing the Nullarbor plain to W.A. at the bottom.
Mundaring Weir was the terminus of the Mundaring Weir Branch Railway, which was originally constructed by the Public Works Department of WA for the transport of materials for the construction of the dam.
The poster is mentioned on page 10 in The Daily News (Perth) Wed 1 Nov 1933.
A rare Australian travel poster. In very good condition. Some minor water stains at upper right.
