A rare original vintage poster promoting Tretorn Gymnastic Shoes depicting two young boys showing off with a handstand exercise and a new pair of sneakers in front.
1891 Tretorn was founded by Johan Dunker in Helsingborg, Sweden, setting the stage for one of the most enduring success stories from the late industrial revolution.
In 1967 Tretorn launched Nylite, the first luxury tennis sneaker in the world. It became a favorite when tennis stars like Bjørn Borg and Martina Navratilova dominated the world's stage. They even produced tennis balls.
The poster is in good condition. Some wear like small tears and a repaired tear at top and mounted on linen. Looks good.
