Introducing an original vintage poster showcasing the 1929 Tivoli at Gröna Lund, Stockholm. Gröna Lund, Sweden's oldest amusement park with roots dating back to the 1880s, underwent significant expansion and enhancement in 1929. Architect Arvid Klosterborg, representing Gröna Lund, proposed substantial improvements, a vision unveiled in newspapers to make the park larger and more attractive.
In pursuit of inspiration, Klosterborg embarked on a study trip to England, Spain, and the USA, exploring foreign amusement parks and establishing connections for Gröna Lund's involvement in the fairground section of the Stockholm exhibition in 1930. During his travels, he visited Traver Engineering in the USA to inspect rides and roller coasters.
Despite displaying typical signs of age wear, including small tears and scratches, this poster is in overall good condition. It stands as a captivating artifact, offering a glimpse into the enchanting world of the 1929 Tivoli at Gröna Lund.
