A rare original vintage travel poster from the 1950's published by the Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish Travel & Tourism offices promoting travel to the “Top of Europe”. The poster depicts the Midtnight Sun in the sky and outdoor activities like skiing, fishing, canoeing together with a Sami person behind his reindeer.
The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs in the summer months in places north of the Arctic Circle.
The poster is designed by Bengt Lundström / Anders Beckman AB.
An 8 inch tear has been repaired at top. Mounted on linen. Would look great framed!
