This is a wonderful original vintage travel poster promoting Tampere (Tammerfors) as a travel destination. The poster is designed by Mykkänen and depicts a lovely rendering of an aerial view with several landmarks on the water, including the Tampere Cathedral built between 1902 and 1907.
Tampere is the second-largest urban area and third most-populous individual municipality in Finland, after Helsinki and Espoo municipalities.
The poster in good condition but has some wear and a few pinholes along portions of the edges. Mounted on linen.
