A lovely original vintage poster issued by P & O Steam Navigation Company to promote travel to "India, Australia, and The East." Disgned by Alfred Reginald Thomson.
Thomson was an English artist and Olympic Gold Medalist, most notable for being an official War Artist to the Royal Air Force during World War Two.
The poster depicts a sun-tanned middle age man relaxing and enjoying his journey in a deckchair on the upper deck having a peaceful sunny day.
On very good condition. Mounted on linen, Slight edge wear and small tears.
