A very rare original vintage Air France poster from the early time of aviation promoting traveling from Paris to Stockholm with plain and train.
Flying from Paris to Malmoe via Brussels, Hamburg and Copenhagen and then from Malmoe by train to Stockholm. The route was called "Nord Air Express" departing Paris at 7:45 AM and arriving in Stockholm at 10:35 PM. The first airport in Stockholm. Bromma AIrport, opened in 1936.
At upper left you see the Stockholm City Hall (Stockholm Stadhus) that was completed in 1923. It’s the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet and is one of Stockholm’s major tourist attractions.
This poster is mentioned in French magazine Publicité March 15, 1937 saying the poster was printed in four colors: Two greens, red and blue.
In excellent condition. Just a minor tear at top.
