This is a stunning original vintage ski travel poster promoting Kitzbühel as a skiing destnation in the early days of winter tourism.
A lovely rendering by Alton depicting wooden farmer huts against a snowy mountain with the recognizable Kitzbühel logo at top of the mountain.
Kitzbühel is a medieval town located in the Tyrol region of Austria, in a wide valley at the foot of the Kitzbüheler Horn. The Hahnenkamm is part of the Kitzbühel ski resort and the annual venue of World Cup alpine ski races. “Die he Streif “ is the most famous downhill course and regarded as the most demanding race course on the World Cup circuit.
In very good condition. Mounted on linen. Restored margins. A stunning and very rare Austrian ski poster.
