This is a very rare original travel poster designed by Dutch painter Albert Hemelman to promote travels to Norway. Hemelman was a student of Peter Dupont, Klaas van Leeuwen, George Sturm and Nicolaas van der Waay. He worked in Amsterdam from 1902 to 1951 and has also worked in Norway, Iceland and Spitsbergen.
His topics included the harbor, industrial landscapes, landscapes, cityscapes and still life. He also designed posters and calendars.
