This is a lovely original vintage poster depicting the Danish King Frederick IX and his ancestors. Depicting the royal family history in Denmark designed by Henry Thelander.
Once upon a time a thousand years ago there was a king of DENMARK named Gorm the Old. All through the years his family has ruled the oldest kingdom of the world, and the present king Frederik the Ninth is a descendant of the old king Gorm.
Frederick IX was King of Denmark from 1947 to 1972.
In good condition. Small tears, edge wear, dirt. Mounted on old linen.
