This is a stunning original vintage poster issued by Iberia to promote flights to Spain.
Iberia founded in 1927 is the flag carrier airline of Spain.
The poster depicts a "Plaza de toros" packed with spectators and several Spanish Bullfighters (Matadors) in front of “ picadors” in their saddles. A Lockheed Super Constellation aircraft in flight over the bullring. Bullrings are often associated with the Iberian Peninsula.
"Niña", "Pinta", and "Santa Maria" were the names given to the Iberia's three Super Constellations. The first flight was on the 460th anniversary of the start of Columbus famous voyage.
