This vintage poster is an original, authentic promotion for the 10th "Djurgårdsmässan" Fair at Skansen, Stockholm, Sweden, held in May 1944. Skansen, where the fair was held, is the first open-air museum and zoo in Sweden, founded in 1891. Today, the Djurgårdsmässan foundation provides financial support to people over 65 who are members or former members of the Stage & Film Trade Union. Originally, only actors were covered, but the foundation has expanded to support all who have been artistically active, thanks to the efforts of former colleagues.
