This is an original vintage movie poster for the Norwegian release of the American Western film "Two Rode Together."

In the 1960s, Norwegian movie posters for foreign films commonly featured original posters with Norwegian titles hand-painted over the existing text. This poster adheres to that tradition, showcasing the title "Vestens Ryttere."

Directed by John Ford and released in 1961, "Two Rode Together" stars James Stewart, Richard Widmark, and Shirley Jones. The plot revolves around a corrupt marshal who, influenced by his army friend, negotiates the release of white captives from the Comanches, only to grapple with the difficult consequences of their reintegration into society.

To enhance its durability for transport between theaters, the Norwegian distributor mounted the poster on brown paper. The poster is in good condition, with some age wear and fold marks.
