A very joyful original vintage Swiss travel poster designed to promote winter tourism in Berner Oberland. The Bernese Oberland is the higher part of the canton of Bern, Switzerland, in the southern end of the canton.
The poster depicts a wonderful winter scene with some skiers climbing a hill and in foreground Barbara Ann Scott, the Canadian ice-skater and winner of the Olympic games in 1948 at St. Moritz.
In very good condition. Mounted on linen.
