This is a lovely original vintage SAS poster from 50/60's.
The poster depicts a boy riding on a plane playing on the 1907 original story by Selma Lagerlof, "Nils Holgersson's wonderful journey across Sweden".
The Wonderful Adventures of Nils (orig. Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige, Nils Holgersson's wonderful journey across Sweden) is a work of fiction by the Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf. It was published in two books, The Wonderful Adventures of Nils in 1906 and Further Adventures of Nils in 1907.
A story about the adventures of a mischievous 14-year-old who is changed into a tiny being, transported across the Swedish countryside on the back of a goose, and learns about nature, geography, and folklore.
The dragon style side decor on the SAS aircrafts was introduced in 1956 and used until 1966.
In excellent condition.
