This is a charming original vintage travel poster from 1949 promoting Norrbotten, Sweden, which depicts a reindeer in the snowy, wintry landscape of North Bothnia, a province in northernmost Sweden. Created by Ragnar "Ranke" Sandgren, who led the Swedish Film Industry Advertising Atelier "Svensk Filmindustris (SF) reklamateljé" from 1953 to 1981, the poster captures the serene beauty of Norrbotten.

Mounted on old linen, the poster features a long tear at the bottom and displays signs of age-related wear and browning. Pinholes. Despite these flaws, it remains in good condition and would make a lovely framed piece.
