Tyrol Kitzbühel

This original vintage Austrian travel poster promotes Tyrol (Tirol) and features a traditional Alpine farmhouse near Kitzbühel, one of Austria's best-known mountain resorts. Dating from around 1950, the poster was issued by the Austrian tourism authorities and features a photograph credited to Dr.-Ing. Rossmanith.

The black-and-white photograph presents an idyllic view of rural Tyrol, with a substantial traditional farmhouse dominating the foreground and the mountains and cultivated slopes surrounding Kitzbühel rising behind it.
