This is another masterpiece by Hans Erik Olsén. What a beautiful art deco style poster, depicting a young boy with his sailboat. He is getting ready to launch his toy. This is Summer!
The poster is promoting Varberg’s health resort not far from Gothenburg in Sweden. Varberg is a charming and popular summer resort. It is probably the town in Sweden that has the strongest health resort traditions. In the 19th century the town’s economy was supplemented with a health resort The main activities were swimming in the sea and baths and treatments in hot baths. Great colors.
