This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
The poster depicts the Devil's Bridge over the narrow Schöllenen Gorge. The narrow rock formation above Göschenen has always blocked access to the Gotthard and hence prevented access to the south. For this reason, it was extremely difficult to build a bridge there.
Another great poster design by Otto Baumberger, one of the masters of the Swiss advertising posters. Baumberger designed many posters and became a professor of lithography and drawing at the Applied Arts School of Zurich.
In great condition, minor creases.
