This is an extremely rare original posters issued by Norden-Fjeldske Steamship Co. Trondhjem to promote Norway Cruises by SY Haakon VII.
The poster depicts SY Haakon VII inside the Geiranger fjord.
SY Haakon VII was built by Trondhjems mekaniske verksted, for Det Nordenfjeldske Dampskibsselskab, delivered in May 1907. She was designed for the "Trondheim to Bergen and Newcastle service", but also used also on cruises. The maiden cruise on 7 May 1907 from Trondheim to Oslo, first Trondheim to Bergen and Newcastle departure on 23 May 1907.
In very good condition. A small repair. Mounted on linen.
