This is an impressive rare original vintage Air France poster issued to promote flights to South America. Air France had regular flights from Europe to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and Buenos-Aires in Argentina.
The poster depicts an outline map of South America with jungle, the river Amazonas, cities like Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos-Aires. In the air a Lockheed constellation in flight. The Lockheed constellation was able to fly non-stop over the Atlantic.
A stunning lithographic poster designed by Lucien Boucher printed in 1950.
