This is a stunning original lithographic advertising poster issued by the Swedish shoemaker Tretorn in 1937.
Tretorn was founded in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1891 by Johan Dunker, setting the stage for one of the most enduring success stories from the late industrial revolution.
The poster is designed by the master Hans Erik Olsén depicting a silhouette of a fashionable lady in white with red lipstick against a blue background with red lettering. Olsén designed several great poster images, this one is very rare.
Mounted on linen. In very good condition. Touched-up along folds, few creases upper left. Rare!
