This is an authentic original poster issued by the Orient Line in the 1920s to promote their cruises to Norway and the Baltic.
While the poster is unsigned, it closely resembles the style and design of another Orient Line poster signed by Herbert Kerr Rooke. It features a stunning Art Deco-style depiction of an Orient Line steamship cruising through a majestic Norwegian fjord, surrounded by steep mountains. In the foreground, there are trees, a sailboat on the fjord, a house on the left, and a church on the right. The color palette includes shades of blue, green, yellow, grey, and white, and according to P&O Heritage, this is a lithograph printed in 10 colors during the 1920s.
Text on the poster reads: *Orient Line Cruises - Norway & Baltic - 20,000 Ton Steamers*.
The poster is mounted on linen and is in excellent condition, with minor signs of age wear, making it a rare and valuable collector's item.
