This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
In 1932 the actor Karl Holter initiated a plan for a festival at Akershus Castle. 50% of the profit from the festival was to go the decoration of Akershus and the rest to future plays. The festival was held from 16-26 June 1933 but unfortunately the festival ended up with a deficit.
Akershus Castle is a medieval castle that was built to protect and provide a royal residence for Oslo, the capital of Norway.
