This original vintage Australian travel poster is just stunning. An iconic art deco inspired image depicting two women from "the Golden Age of Travel" overlooking the spectacular beach at Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Geelong was an achievable dream to most Melburnians and great place to “Take a Kodak”.
The poster is designed by Percy Trompf, one of Australia's most prolific and most celebrated poster designers. His bright, colorful, optimistic pictures had wide appeal, especially during the Depression. Trompf supervised all stages of production, including the printing. He designed a lot of spectacular Australian travel posters and is very sought after.
