This is an original 1935 travel poster issued by Statens Järnvägar (SJ), Sweden’s state railway, to promote “Billiga Rundturer” (Affordable Round Trips) with a 30% discount.

The artwork features a beautifully illustrated electric train, most likely a Bs locomotive, traveling through a scenic Swedish landscape. The train, painted in shades of red, moves along a winding railway track beside a calm body of water, reflecting the surrounding greenery. Lush rolling hills and towering mountains fill the background, rendered in rich green and earthy tones, enhancing the sense of adventure and natural beauty.
